Welcome to St Patrick's

Image I'm Philip Salter, the Principal of St Patrick's National School, Dalkey.

We are a Church of Ireland co-educational school under the patronage of the Archbishop of Dublin. Our pupil population is drawn from the local area.

The school's ethos is committed to providing a caring environment for the pupils and to enabling their holistic development.

There has been a school on the site since 1870. The present structure was built in 1998. It is a modern, spacious building comprising of four classrooms, a general-purpose room and a library/learning support room.

The main objective of our website is to give our school an Internet presence, and to communicate information about the school for parents, guardians and prospective families.

Equally important is that the children have an opportunity to publish their work on the Internet and use it as learning tool, enabling them to become familiar with technology in an educational way.

Our website is accessed through the three buttons above which will direct you to the overall areas of interest, these being the School itself, the Parents' Area and the Pupils' Area. The pupils' area is restricted by a password and is therefore only available to members of the school community.

We hope you have time to enjoy the short video to the right of this item. This will give you a flavour of the school. Thanks for taking the time to visit our website.
